Rastaban

Rastaban is a belgo-netherlands band that creates progressive dark-folk using original compositions, traditional songs and sometimes surprising covers. During their concerts, the group explores the myths and legends of Europe and elsewhere, and recounts in music what the ancients told each other around the fire, during dark autumn nights. Electric guitars, percussion, electronic beats accompany traditional instruments such as the bouzouki, the didgeridoo and the violin. Marine’s powerful voice seduces the audience and takes them to worlds of timeless stories and legends. This new version of Rastaban, reborn in 2024, remains faithful to its dark/pagan folk roots while exploring a more industrial and metal sound. A profound sound experience which leaves the public mesmerised.
