Heima is a brand new folk song project, sometimes poetic, sometimes political, in the form of an acoustic trio: Simon Gielen on accordion, Marine Libert on vocals, and Arno Polet on viola.
These three seasoned musicians enthusiastically perform a repertoire of partisan chants and meaningful songs to convey a message that is sometimes feminist, sometimes rebellious, but always marked by joy and kindness.
The group’s current repertoire takes the audience along the paths of the barricades of the Paris Commune, the Freedom Marches, and even the seaside pubs, and invites them to dance joyfully along the paving stones of the partisan street.
